The Tokyo Jazz Notes Dozen #18 - January 2012

Welcome to the first Tokyo Jazz Notes Dozen of 2012 which, as ever, features a selection of tunes from past and present from the four corners of the globe. This time round the focus is almost entirely jazz be it with a Brazilian, European, Japanese or nu jazz flavour, with the one exception being a wonderful piece of gospel-influenced soul to close the set. I hope you enjoy this month's selection, and remember to support the musicians who give us these wonderful sounds.
